Women’s Health
As Nurse-Midwives, we bring the Midwifery Model of Care to our women’s health practice. This model of care is based on spending quality time in visits, listening to clients and taking the problems seriously, educating clients about all of their options, and proposing treatments or solutions in a shared decision-making process. We offer individualized care to people based on their unique history, condition(s), and needs, and keep an open mind about what would work best for each person from a variety of treatment approaches. We are aware of the limitations of our training and knowledge, and make referrals to specialists when appropriate.
